Rob Austin Racing (RAR) is a marketing phenomenon in the Dunlop British Touring Car Championship – Britain’s premier motor racing championship and also one of the UK’s biggest sporting arenas. As a family run privateer team RAR entered the BTCC in 2011 and has expanded to two cars driven by Rob Austin and Hunter Abbot. Visibly on race weekends the team attracts one of the largest followings around its pit garage, its paddock hospitality and among the passionate trackside fans. Each BTCC race event on average attracts Premier Division-sized trackside crowds of c.37,000 people and ITV4’s live race day coverage plus mid-week highlights plays to around 20 million people per year!
